The drainage core is commonly manufactured from polystyrene (PS) or polyethylene (PE), forming an open-channel structure that provides continuous water flow while maintaining high compressive strength.
To meet different engineering requirements, Plastic Blind Drains are available in various configurations, including circular, rectangular, and sheet-type designs. During production, the polymer is melted and extruded into a stable three-dimensional drainage core. A nonwoven or woven geotextile is then thermally bonded or adhesively laminated to one or both sides of the core. The polymer core typically accounts for more than 95% of the product structure.
