PP Geogrid for Road Base Reinforcement

PP geogrid is a polypropylene reinforcement material designed to improve the stability and load distribution of soil and aggregate layers. When installed within a granular layer, its apertures allow aggregate particles to interlock with the geogrid, creating mechanical confinement. This interaction restricts lateral aggregate movement, reduces deformation and helps distribute applied loads over a wider area.   PP geogrids are commonly used for road base and sub-base reinforcement, soft soil stabilization, working platforms, haul roads, parking areas, yards and other civil engineering applications. Biaxial PP geogrids provide reinforcement in two directions and are suitable for granular layers subjected to repeated traffic or construction loads. The appropriate geogrid strength, aperture size and installation position should be selected to meet site soil conditions, design loads and project requirements.
